5 Holy Mother of Pearl Stars

Betrayed is the 3rd episode in the My Master’s Nightmare series.

And Betrayed they were.

In Episode #2 “Discovered”, we learned that Alberto is one disloyal son of a bitch.  He betrayed his brother, his family…all for a little piece of ass.  All for the Donatelli.

When episode 2 ended, we were all left asking WTF….No…that can’t be happening.  MARITA ARE YOU SERIOUS!?

Boy oh boy…things took a turn for unthinkable….

Betrayed started off where Discovered left off.  Frano remains in a holding cell wondering what is happening to Rita.  Is she safe? Will they kill her once they realize who she is?
He sits and listens to the horrifying screams coming from the cell next to him….the cell that holds Jagger…who is having unthinkable things done to him by the Padre.

He is left questioning if Jagger really told the truth all those years ago…had the Padre truly abused him?  It becomes abundantly clear to him that all these years….the truths he was fed by the Donatelli…were nothing but LIES!

Rita is finally returned to the cell….and Frano can finally breathe…..that is, until she opens her mouth.  Then he just FUMES!  Rita is the one woman he cannot resist and the one woman he wants to strangle.

By the end of the episode, a lot of things are happening:
1) Frano….isn’t himself
2) Jagger shows just how manipulative he can be
3) Rita…well, she got her balls back

HEY…..Donatelli….

I have a feeling shit is about to hit the fan.

Behind the Lens by Marita Hansen (Heather’s Review) 5 STARS

 

*****5-SHOCKED-AND-AWED-STARS*****

Oh shit….I was not expecting all of that to happen in Lens.  God Damn!  I am….yeah…I….I don’t know.  This one is my favorite.

Kidnapping, porn parties, drugs, sex, Russian roulette….

Lens just sucked me in.  I didn’t want to put it down.  There was so much that happened.

Shit really hit the fan in Lens.

Dante and Ash are trying to work on getting their life together and moving on.  Just when  Dante thinks he has some semblance of “normal” back in his life, his past comes back to wreak havoc on his heart….and his dick.

Dante is still trying to figure out his and Beth’s new found relationship.  Beth is still Beth….bitchy, and hypocritical.  He hell-bent on his relationship with her working and showing Beth, and everyone else, that he is not a whore.  He can be a one-woman man.  Then……BAM!  In walks Kara.

The woman who walked away with his heart and trampled on his soul.

Now, I know there are some people out there who are pro-Kara….*cough cough*  Jahy and Harlen…..but I just couldn’t feel sorry for her or what she did and is doing.  I understand she didn’t and doesn’t have a choice, but I still dislike her.

Beth….yeah…I don’t have kind words for her either.  What she did to Dante was wrong in all sorts of ways, just as what Kara did.  But…I will admit, I can see why Kara did what she did.  Family first….because in the end, they are all you have.

There were sooo many personal and emotional revolations for Corey and Sledge in Lens.  OH GOD!  Poor Corey.  My heart broke for him in this one.  I was so proud of Sledge tho.  He stood up for Corey and for their relationship.  And he FINALLY rid their lives of an acidic bastard.  GOOD RIDDANCE!

The book literally takes off right away and never lets up.
Beth and Kara….

DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA!!!!

Cravin, Ant, Saul, Hunter…..they all come out to play as well.  I’m not going to go into much more about the charactors and what goes on.  I don’t want to give anything away.  Read the book!  It won’t disappoint!

Marita….

REALLY?!?!  You killed me with that ending…..I need Secrets….I need it NOW!

5 SLAP TAMA IN THE FACE STARS

JKHSKJLDHFLJHLKSJIOEHOUIHUHSD:LKNFLKSJDILJ!!!!

Ok….now that I have gotten that outta the way….let’s get to this.

In Behind the Hood, we meet Tama…..effing TAMA.  He has an uncanny ability to screw everything up and hurt people.  He lacks compassion for most people with the exception of his Momma, his sister, and his cousin.  He doesn’t take responsibilty for his actions and is only out to get ahead for himself.

What a rotten, hateful, egotistical, lying no good bastard!!

I cannot say enough mean shit about him.  I wanted to slap him….in the face…..with a hammer.  I wanted to take his knife to him and see how he likes it.

Wow. His personality and actions have made me violent…..

I’m going to break this down in a short simple review…. Ok, deep breath…..here it goes…

The beginning sure starts off with a BANG!

We meet Maia, Nike’s 14 year old sister.  On her way home from sneaking out for a party, she runs into Tama’s “gang” of goonies.  She is chased…..and Tama is a complete prick to her….and literally pricks her.

This incident it what sets off the emotional rollercoaster that is Hood.

It  sets off Nike,
which sets off Ash,
which sets off Danta,
which hurts Sledge,
which causes Tama to go to Jayden,
which hurts Leila,
which spurs on Tama again,
which hurts Mikey,
which hurts Jess,
which ends up hurting Nike,
which in the end….SUCKS FOR TAMA!!!

Moral of the story…..TAMA HURTS EVERYONE!!!!

AND…….EXHALE!!!!!

Marita…..bravo love, bravo!!  What a rollercoaster ride that was…..and an amazing one at that.  I love how you tie everyone into the story, yet still focus on that one main person.  I simply L.O.V.E.D. it!

My suggestion to those reading this, start with this one.  I started with behind the Tears, but I think I would have understood more and been prepared for Tears had I read Hood first.  But either way, brilliant series!

Dante has been labled the town bicycle after being photographed with his pants down with a married women, and then having that photo mass texted. Almost every female around has had a ride. He drinks too much, he fucks too much, but he just wants to love and be loved in return. Sledge and Juliet….the twins. The youngest of the clan. These 2 are said to be identical, spiting images. Put a wig on Sledge, he’s Juliet, add a dick to Juliet, she’s Sledge. Poor Juliet has been burned so many times by the boys and dealt the “not so pretty” card in life. Her most recent betrayl…the most heart breaking! Sledge is well…..confused, a brooding teenage boy…with raging hormones. His best mate Corey, which I completely ADORE, it the one person he would do ANYTHING for other than his family. And there in lies his confusion….I won’t elaborate anymore, so…READ THE BOOK! To say the least, this book was I.N.T.E.N.S.E. The story was so real and gritty with raw emotion flying everywhere. Each charactor was very well developed. There is no lack of drama. Beth has made sure of that! I can’t wait to start the next one….but first….I need to prepare myself.
